SALT LAKE CITY, September 27, 2021 \u2013 Onyx Graphics, Inc. today announced it will be exhibiting at FESPA Global Print Expo 2021, the first major European tradeshow since the start of COVID-19. During the pandemic, Onyx Graphics has developed new technologies where automation, cost reduction, and ease-of-use have become paramount for today\u2019s print businesses to be competitive. Among the products to be showcased at FESPA, visitors to the Onyx Graphics booth will get a firsthand look at ONYX 21.1, the company\u2019s latest version release; ONYX Go, a new subscription RIP software offered in two product tiers, and ONYX TruFit, a new shape-based nesting solution compatible with any wide-format production environment.<\/p>\n

Building upon ONYX 21 that introduced Swatch Books 2.0 for fast easy color matching, PDF Tile Maps to streamline tile-job installation, and Dynamic Print Labels for print business branding; ONYX 21.1 introduces PDF Soft Proofs for faster artwork approvals that improve the customer experience, and Print Label Cut Paths to ensure important print job information is not lost for Print-and-Cut jobs. PDF Soft Proofs and Print Label Cut Paths can both be fully automated to increase workflow efficiency and reduce manual errors.<\/p>\n

\u201cFESPA is the premier tradeshow venue for the graphic arts in Europe but represents more than a tradeshow for Onyx Graphics this year,\u201d said Matt Crawford, Director of Product Marketing at Onyx Graphics. \u201cThis is the first opportunity for an in-person look at our latest developments. This includes notable version releases, subscriptions, and a nesting product, as well as several advances in color measurement and management, found only in ONYX software.\u201d<\/p>\n

Visitors to the Onyx Graphics stand at FESPA will also get a first-hand view of ONYX Go, the company\u2019s recent RIP software subscription release, and ONYX TruFit, an automated shape-based nesting solution released during the pandemic. ONYX Go offers month-to-month, no-contract subscription plans and is available in two product tiers: ONYX Go Lite, and ONYX Go Plus. ONYX Go supports up to two full workstations out of the box with color management and production tools such as DeviceLink+ to synchronize color across devices, and bleed, grommets, and marks to reduce file finishing time. ONYX TruFit provides automated shape-based nesting that can be inserted into any existing wide-format production environment on either Windows and Mac OS and is compatible with any wide-format RIP software.<\/p>\n

ONYX 21.1 is available for the entire suite of ONYX RIP and Print Workflow products including ONYX Thrive, ONYX RIP products, and ONYX Go subscriptions. ONYX Go subscribers receive ONYX 21.1 as part of their subscription. For other ONYX users Onyx Graphics, Inc. is recommending the purchase or renewal of an ONYX Advantage service agreement, which will guarantee an upgrade to the new version. The ONYX Advantage program gives non-subscription ONYX software users an easy way to keep their software current and secure their investment. It provides product upgrades, new printer drivers, and access to on-demand training and support videos. ONYX Go is available as a subscription service through an Authorized ONYX Reseller or via the Onyx Graphics new web store. ONYX and non-ONYX users may obtain ONYX TruFit through a license purchase.
